Its pretty alright!

Vanguard is a nice synth if you want dirty, thin sounds. You can't get phat sounds outta it =( Try getting some better synths, like z3ta+.

The song is rpetty good in itself, I'd just like to here amore organized song. This song kind of bounces around, its not really steady. Have drums going, and have some drum breaks. Don't just cut it out and in.

Your going to be doing an amazing job someday, I know it =) Could you drop by my audio page and review a song or two? I'd appreciate it =D

The song is very clownish, I can see this beign used in a scene transition in a flash. Very nice =) I'm voting 5 on this cause i think the other guy 0ed you. >=(

Its pretty good!

This song is veyr nice, diverse percussion, powerful basslines, but the strings could be a little louder. I can't even hear the great melody you put on them =(

Another piece of adivce: Please don't compose in MIDI. It doesn't sound that great... use programs that can make your music sound real and amazing, like FL or Reason 3.0.

I don't know what is wrong with the last reviwer.

The rating system in the AP is screwed up. So you almost NEED to 5 your own sogs so they dissapear into nothingness >=/ So, other guy, shut up. You don't know what you are talking about. I also have a strong feeling that your the one who zeroed his song >=(

The song is very flexable, and the synth line you brought in later was good and sick. Nice =) It is a very well arranged and very well produced song. Good work, I am impressed =D

The chords and the distorted percussion side hits are magnificent. You seriously have a hold on what you are doing... I take you took piano or some kind of musical lessons?

You are very good at what you do, but there is one thing you can do to make it better: Make more diverse percussion. Breaks here and there, clap ends, kick breaks, etc.

Only brought it up 0.50 though =/ 4.00 to 4.50... oh well.

I'm listening to this song on headphones, which are sensitive to treble frequencies... you voice isn't very kind to my ears, even though it does sounds pretty alright.

The rest of the sog is good trancey/ravey. The bassline is rather catchy, so I like it =)

I like the breaks you added to add dynamics and power. Awesome.

The voices keeps getting more and more creepier as the song keeps going.. lovin' it =D

Rythym shows in this one

the hits you have going on are nice enough to the song to show rythym, but kind of get annoying when you let them play by themselves.

The notes you use kind of sound... awkward with each other.

Again, the quality of this song reeks. We have a 4,000 K limit... you don't have to stay in the 2,000 region =P

You did a pretty decent job on this song. Good work!

Your songs seem bare for reviews

so have a few.

The drums in the beginning are setting a nice rythym, but I'd like to hear some more synth in the beginning.

How come the quality is so low? I can't really hear everything that great...

The arp you brought in did the track some good. It would've been hotter if you faded that in the beginning, instead of havig nothing but percussion.

About the drums, you should consider altering them instead of using the mother sound. Slap on some FX, screw with the wavelength, have fun.

The quality is so low because it was originally a large file. I had to compress it down to 64 kbs so that it would fit the 4 MB maximum.

Either that, or I just used crappy instruments. I don't remember.

[A New Beginning...]

The soft synth are is nice =)

The progression in this track is very subtle, and actually very nicely done. The kick is nice and powerful, but it would ahve been nicer if you could ahve EQed it some more, since it just sounds like a default FL kick.

When you brought in the lead, it would ahve been great if you would ahve done a big beat drop, instead of the beat becoming nothing more than a drone (drone = something in the backround to great noise, to fill up space). Then, have a big break in, and have a finished beat. Open hi hats, the piano, everthing. It'd sound much more powerful.

The piano riff is rather nice, but it just sounds like a dafault FL piano. Add some delay, some reverb, and EQ it so that its high ended. So it sounds more nice =)

The song is good, so just need to work on FX some more, and adding some breaks. So listen to some dream trance producers, and get a feel for how they do it. That will give you more of an idea for how to do the breaks that I described to you =)

Very FXey like.

The beginning was nice, with the distorted synth rising up. But, the song is distorting, and I can't hear any percussion other than some hats. Heres some advice: Instead of turning UP your instruments volume so you can hear the other instruments, turn them down, so the ones that you so desperately need to hear are a little louder. Then the song won't red-line =) Then, on the master FX channel, plop on an FX channel. It'll make everything smooth.

Since I heard no percussion due to volume problems, can't relaly comment on it. The melodies I heard were nice though. Try not to clutter your songs... only have a bassline, melody, and a pad going (AT MOST) or else the song is going to clutter, and then you can't ehar anything other than what is loudest.

You can make some amazing music, so go out there and do it! Impress the world =) Keep it up! Could you do me a favor and check out my music and leave some reviews? I'd really appreciate it =D

hey, thanks for the helpful feedback! I definitely agree that there is a little much going on in my song, I was originally going to change that, but i wasn't quite sure what to get rid of. Now, i will definitly do my best next time to make sure that the melody doesn't crowd the percussion and basslines, but to be honest, all i had in this song were cymbals kicks, and claps, no actual drumming. I will definitely check your work very soon.
