Very nice beginning

But the delay you had on it made it collide with itself. The sounds distort, because you made the synth delay ontop of itself. Not really a pretty sound =(

Very nice of backround noises later in the song though, they world very nice. I would have liked something to tell the listener that the drums are coming up, like a drum break in or something, but it was still good and smooth.

Good work! I enjoyed this piece of electronica =D Could you check out my songs and leave a review or two? I'd really appreciate it if you did =D

DJPlutoniumTrigger responds:

Thanks for the feedback, dude! As always, it is appreciated. The delay was meant to collide with itself, because thats the way I wanted it. But to each their own, right? :) I'll check out your stuff for sure.

Hahahaha!

Awesome! =D

You have a very original idea going on here, and you know, it actually turned out alright! =D

It would be awesome if you had it break into a vocoder at the end, and then have awesome drums and a bass break in. That would be feckin' sweet...

Awesome work, seriously. Do more of this xD Could you drop by my audio page and leave a review or two? I'd appreciate it if you did =D

Very sexy!

I see you've got a hold of a rather powerful synth, and the drums aren't that bad either =D

The synths are crisp, but I'd like to hear more of a progression on them, you know? It just seems like they are repeating over and again, and them all of a sudden, louder drums break in. You need more of a synth break in and out, for more dramatic power over the song.

You did a really good job, this was enjoyable. Could you drop by my audio page and leave a review or two? I'd really appreciate it =D

If you want more attention

you need to write a few review yourself, and post around on the forums =)

This song is actually pretty good. I enjoyed how 'ominous' is sounded, even though the reverb on that pilch lead is too strong, causing the resonance to overpower. Might wanna change that a bit.

The rest of the song is pretty good. Well done! Could you drop by my audio page and leave a review or two? I'd really appreciate it if you did =D

I like old projects

but I don't like reviewing them. Cause all the advice I'd end up giving usually is already learned by the composer =P

The song really broke into the groove first thing when you turned it on, but that awesome drum line quickly got bumped out of the track by the compression... the instruments are very well compressed, but the extensive amount of compression isn't nessecary. All you need is something that keep it from redlining, but this... really cuts down on the good parts of the song.

Hmmm this song isn't techno =/ It is straight up dance =D Even though there are quite a few presets used in it, I did enjoy it =)

Keep it up! Could you drop by my audio page and review a song or two? I'd appreciate it =D

Davirus responds:

LoL
Thanks! And yes I have learned some new tricks :P
Given Im not feeling inspired to make music Im sending my old files I have around here.

But that compression tip its really helpful, cuz I still using some old methods ( like my compression style ).

Thanks! :D

Very nice melody.

The only ting that is bugging me right now with the song is 1: you are using FL presets, and 2: you have a large amount of distortion in your track. Please don't add delay to heavy kicks =( That causes serious distortion. Take off that delay, and then turn down al of the instruments, and only turn up what you need to hear (kick, melody) only HALF WAY. Then turn everything else up slightly. Don't make things louder to make them heard, make the others quieter so you can make them quieter. It'll really help the quality of the track, it will.

The song is enjoyable other than a bit of distortion =) Keep it up! Could you drop by my auydio page and review a song or two? I'd really appreciate it =D

chromic responds:

I don't use as many presets as it sounds, the only thing that was alot of presets was Land of Pixels. This song gargled because I forgot to put the soft clipper in the fx for the bass. The delay of the bass is actually a sound sample bass I got from The Comet, I cannot fix the delay. The sounds I used were already loud to begin with, and turning them half way you can barely hear them. Newgrounds makes it sounds more distorted than it really is. Trust me ;) and I'll take a look at your review. I'll keep in mind about the delayed kicks and find a way to fix it. thx for the review. The full version is better if u want to download it. I might even resend this song to newgrounds with soft clippers and what not for better quality.

Very nice.

Nice remix of... damn, I can't remember the name of the original =P Would have been nice if you changed the melody to suit your needs, instead of just changing the key signature =/

The song isn't distorting at all, just try to make the song sound more full, and turn down your FX down a little bit. They overpower =(

Good work though, I enjoyed it!

Not very dNb

When I think of dnb, it has to be 160+ BPM, and very fast with the drums. This song fits more under 'dance', or 'funk'.

The song is well written, and the drrms are catchy, I enjoyed it. Watch the monitor, make sure it isn't touching the red-line too much. If theres nothing but red-line in the song, turn things down! Then put a compressor on the song =) That'll solve your distortion problem.

Good work, keep it up! Could you drop a few reviews on my audio page? I'd appreciate it if you did =D

Thanks for the review! Sorry i wasn't very sure which category this belonged in... and of course i'll stop by your audio page :)

"Wind Over the Range"

The song is very arranged, 3/4 time sure is secksy =D

It is catchy, well written, with a tad of beauty. Magnificent.

My only advice is that you shouldn't use FL preset samples. Go into Google and put in 'breakbeat paradise' and clck on the first link that comes up. That site should ahve more than enough drum samples to keep you going =)

Keep it up, I am impressed! Drop me a few reviews sometime?

"Final Agression"

I'm listening to this on headphones, so keep it in mind, I'll most likely be dissapointed if the high frequencies bug me too much =(

There is only one thing that is actually bugging me in this track, and its a cymbal like hit. It disrupts the entire song, and it hurts my ears =( Its distorted, so that doesnt help either >=(

The song is good though. I enjoy the amount of sickness you threw into the bassline and stuff.

Good work, keep it up!

cornandbeans responds:

Hehe.. Just if you want a less annoying form of this, I updated it.. no more distorted cymbals for me.. :P Hopefully that will smooth the flow of the song. I've started to use more TS404 and 3xOsc, so the bassline was a bit sicker than my usual. Glad you picked up on it. :) Anyway, thanks for the helpful review!
